A day to unwind, be creative and nurture the soul. We will start the day with a guided meditation by Sunspot Yoga on our 20 acre property. Sitting amongst the gum trees and bird song, this meditation will set our hearts and minds on a creative pathway. From here a short stroll back to the studio gathering inspiration on the way, for a demonstration and sketching session to plan our creations. Together here we will learn the accent technique of coil pots, pinch pots and slab work. Your creations might look like vases, bowls or cups. the decision is yours.
A delicious and wholesome catered lunch will be provided under the wisteria arbour and then time to create your pottery work.
Note on your finished work
Your creations will take some time to dry, bisque fire and glaze fire. We will look after this for you. Costs for this are per kilo and additional to your retreat cost. See pricing schedule. (INSERT FIRING COSTS)
Your work will be posted to you, again cost per kg or you can pick them up at no extra cost.
The other option is to take your creations home with you and fire and glaze in your own time.

This is a hands on workshop that will be outside, in nature, more than likely messy, fun and interactive. Ware closed toe shoes, cloths you feel comfortable and BYO apron.
